ON Semiconductor推出全电压输入、5V输出高电流的手机电源适配器方案,输出功率40W,全电压满载效率超过90%,待机功耗低于30 mW,PCB尺寸仅40mmx40mmx21mm,功率密度达1.25W/cm3。另外,该方案还提供完整的保护机制,包含输出过电流、输出短路、过温、开回路与Burn-out等保护。
本案采用ON Semiconductor NCP1340+NCP43080的解决方案,以达到高效率、低待机功耗与完整保护要求。NCP1340是高频准谐振电流模式控制PWM IC,它集成X2电容放电、谷底闭锁、Quiet-Skip等新颖技术。并搭配NCP43080同步整流IC,NCP43080可应用于LLC、Forward或DCM/CRM/QR的Flyback,它集成二次侧零电流侦测、轻载关闭模式、最大1MHz操作频率与8A-Sink/4A-Source电流等新颖技术。

The NCP1340 is a highly integrated quasi−resonant flyback controller suitable for designing high−performance off−line power converters. With an integrated active X2 capacitor discharge feature, the NCP1340 can enable no−load power consumption below 30 mW. The quasi−resonant current−mode flyback stage features a proprietary valley−lockout circuitry, ensuring stable valley switching. This system works down to the 6th valley and transitions to a frequency foldback mode to reduce switching losses. As the load decreases further, the NCP1340 enters quiet−skip mode to manage the power delivery. To help ensure converter ruggedness, the NCP1340 implements several key protective features such as internal brownout detection, a non−dissipative Over Power Protection (OPP) for constant maximum output power regardless of input voltage, a latched over voltage and NTC−ready over temperature protection through a dedicated pin, and line removal detection to safely discharge the X2 capacitors when the line is removed.

NCP43080: 同步整流器控制器,具有LLD功能
The NCP43080 is a synchronous rectifier controller for switch mode power supplies. The controller enables high efficiency designs for flyback, quasi resonant flyback and LLC topologies.
Externally adjustable minimum off−time and on−time blanking periods provides flexibility to drive various MOSFET package types and PCB layout. A reliable and noise less operation of the SR system is insured due to the Self Synchronization feature. The NCP4308 also utilizes Kelvin connection of the driver to the MOSFET to achieve high efficiency operation at full load.
The precise turn−off threshold, extremely low turn−off delay time and high sink current capability of the driver allow the maximum synchronous rectification MOSFET conduction time. The high accuracy driver and 5 V gate clamp make it ideally suited for directly driving GaN devices.
To provide more flexibility in PCB layout there are two versions of this product.
NCP4308 does NOT have LLD function
